Good news!
I e-mailed my post about the little crocheted lamb to the shop owner, Lyly, of LuvlyGurumi, and she decided to offer 5 free patterns to one of my lucky readers! I wish I could win!
If you haven’t heard of amigurumi, it’s a word for knitted or crocheted stuffed dolls. Lyly sells PDF crochet patterns with easy instructions and pictures to make these lovely dolls. In her own words, “One special day, I discovered amigurumi and it was instant love. Everything made me go ‘Awww’ and a smile would quickly appear on my face. I decided then that I had to learn how to make these cuties myself. A couple months later, I was doing exactly that… and now that I’ve started, I simply can’t stop.”
Just look at some of the cuties in her shop and see if you can keep from saying, “Awww.”I bought the pattern for this adorable lamb and had so much fun making it.
This lion is definitely the next one I want to make.
How adorable are these bunnies in little hoodies? Wouldn’t they make such a cute Easter gift?
Or there’s this cute little penguin.
And that’s just a sample of the dolls that are in her shop. So, are you ready to enter to win 5 of these adorable patterns? Here’s what you can do to enter. You have 3 chances to enter. You can do one, two, or all of these things:
**Make sure to leave a separate comment for each entry. It’s like a raffle and your comments are your tickets!**
That’s it. Only 3 comments per person. You MUST include a valid e-mail address in your comment or have e-mail linked to your blogger profile so I can contact you. If I can’t e-mail you, I will choose another winner.
Giveaway ends Monday, April 25th at 8pm PST. Winner will be chosen using Random.org and will be announced soon afterward. If I have no reply from the winner within a week, I will choose another winner. Good luck!!

Thanks to all those who entered, and special thanks to CSN Stores for the opportunity to share this giveaway with you.
I am MORE than a little bit excited to invite you all to participate in my very first giveaway! The good folks at CSN stores were kind enough to offer a gift code to one of my lucky readers. If you haven’t had a chance to check out CSN stores yet, this is the perfect opportunity! They have so much stuff to choose from. They have rugs, kitchen gadgets, patio furniture, kids toys and so much more. I absolutely got lost browsing their lights when I was trying to choose something to review.
How cool is this?
I LOVE the look of this lamp, but I don’t know where I’d put it.
Okay, so here’s what you could win: A $35 gift code to use at any of CSN’s 200+ stores. Please note that CSN only ships to the US and Canada, and there may be international shipping taxes to Canada that the gift code cannot cover.

“. . . when the world falls in love, every song you hear seems to say . . . Merry Christmas. May your New Year’s dreams come true . . .”
Oh. Sorry. You caught me singing Christmas songs by The Carpenters.
What I meant to say was it’s that time of year when, if we haven’t already, we have to start thinking about Christmas cards.
I love being able to send out Christmas cards. Gathering all the addresses can be a bit of a chore, but since I can’t give gifts to everyone I know, a Christmas card is a fun way to say Merry Christmas. I even end up wishing I could send more Christmas cards than I actually do. This year, I have a head start on my Christmas cards because of Daylight Designs.
Have you heard of Daylight Designs?
I was lucky enough to win a giveaway from Blessed Little Nest featuring Daylight Designs, and I’m so happy with what I got! First off, Melissa (Mel), the shop owner was so easy to work with. When I won the giveaway, we had just had our photos taken, so I didn’t have them yet. (I know. I said I’d show them off, but I haven’t gotten around to it. That will be my next post. Promise.) I asked if I needed to use an older photo or if she would be okay with waiting until I got our photos back, and she was totally fine with waiting. Almost a month later, I sent her a photo with my request. She sent me a proof the very next day, and I had my cards the next week. I am so happy with how they turned out!
Since my cards were part of a giveaway, she printed and mailed them to me with envelopes. Her listings in her shop are for the card design. You send her a picture, she puts it in the design and sends you a file that you can print as many as you want using your favorite photo developer. But if you prefer to have the cards printed out, she also has that option available.
Daylight Designs has plenty of options to choose from. I love how simple and fresh the designs are. These are my three favorite Christmas card designs:
But Mel doesn’t only do Christmas cards. Visit her shop for baby shower invitations, birth announcements, wedding invites, and more.
Thanks, Daylight Designs, for my beautiful Christmas cards!
Psst! I just read on Mel’s blog that she’s hosting another giveaway over at Mama Manifesto! Hurry over there and win some for yourself!
I just love all the crafty things I find on the blog V and Co. I’ve had my eye on the pattern for “the favorite bag” for a while. And now we all have a chance to win three of her patterns on from Lee La La. Just follow this link to enter.
